RESEARCH & SPECIALIZED SERVICES
Basic and applied research, both experimental and computational, is being conducted through doctoral dissertations, postgraduate and diploma theses, and through externally or internally (by NTUA) funded research projects. The Laboratory also provides specialized services in its area of expertise to the public and the private sector, such as Ministries, the Public Power Co., Water supply companies, Consulting and Construction companies. Some of those companies are shown below.
The Laboratory of Applied Research has also developed and maintains scientific collaborations with distinguished University and Technical University laboratories abroad such as those of Munich, Karlsruhe, Stuttgart, Zurich and Cardiff, while its members are involved in scientific committees, conferences and other international scientific activities.
